Personalised cards

We often come across cards that are targeted for a specific person.
Their name, surname and sometimes also their photo.
This measure is called personalisation and can be handled by using various methods, depending on our clients’ needs.

Personalised cards

Each card always has its owner, it is addressed to someone individually. This means that a specific card is addressed to a specific person. So it can include a name, surname, bar code of that person, flat or pressed number, or even a photo. There are several types of card personalisation:

Flat number personalisation

This is the process of applying numerical sequences individually for each card. The numbers can be changed in any way – sequential numbers or set from the database received in the form of a file. Normally, flat number personalisation is performed in a black colour, yet there is the possibility to use a wide range of different colours: silver, gold, white, red, navy blue, green etc. The font, size and the arrangement are flexible and can be adapted according to the customer’s wishes.

This is the process of applying personal data (name, surname, card number, expiry date, position, etc.) individually for each card. The data is collected from the database received as a file. Normally, flat number personalisation with personal data is performed in a black colour, yet there is the possibility to use a wide range of different colours: silver, gold, white, red, navy blue, green etc. The font, size and the arrangement are flexible and can be adapted according to the customer’s wishes.

Pressed number personalisation (embossing)

Normally, embossing is performed with a silver or gold coating. The size of the font and its arrangement are determined by the technical requirements of the process.

One-colour flat print

One-colour flat prints are made by using the hot-stamping method and the cards are printed with numbers of consecutive and variable personal data.

Convex print

Convex prints are made by using the embossing method and are printed with numbers of consecutive and variable personal data.

Bar code print

Bar code prints are made by using the hot-stamping method and the appropriate bar code is applied to the card according to the customer’s request.

Full colour print

Full-colour print is used for badges and ID cards.
